Reid’s Sitter Session | Kansas City Baby Milestone Photography
Reid’s Sitter Milestone Session in Kansas City
There is something so magical about the sitter stage. Around 6 to 9 months, babies are steady enough to sit on their own, their personalities begin to shine, and every little smile feels like pure joy. It is such a fleeting window and one of my favorite milestones to photograph.
Reid’s sitter session was full of sweet smiles, curious glances, and playful little moments that perfectly capture this season of discovery. From cozy bucket shots to soft blanket textures, each setup highlighted his bright eyes and joyful personality. I love that sitter sessions are equal parts classic portraits and lifestyle details, like toes in hand or a curious tilt of the head. These are the memories that will be treasured long after this stage has passed.
A Family Legacy
One of the greatest joys of my work is getting to walk alongside families through every chapter of their story. The Rounkles family has trusted me to photograph all three of their boys from the very beginning. Kasen in 2020, Kade in 2022, and now baby Reid in 2025.
Each of them has had their newborn portraits, milestone sitter session, and one year celebration captured as part of the Watch Me Grow Collection. It has been such a gift to document their family’s journey and create a timeless legacy of these early years.
