Senior Session Questions + Answers
How do I book a session?
Reach out and let’s start planning! The easiest way to get started is to fill out the form below, email us at contact@husbandandwifephoto.com, or call 913.687.2690. Your session is officially booked once we’ve received a signed contract and paid retainer. A 50% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due on session day.
What’s included in your pricing?
Your session fee includes your session time, the edited high-resolution images in your selected collection, an online gallery for downloading and sharing, and a print release. Additional images beyond what’s included can be purchased once you view your proofing gallery. Print products are available through your gallery, and we offer name/year customizations for seniors upon request. Ask for the full product catalog when inquiring!
When should I book?
Final galleries are delivered within 3 weeks. You’ll receive a proofing gallery within 1 week of your session, and once favorites are selected, your final gallery is delivered 2 weeks later. Booking at least 2 months in advance is ideal, especially if you need photos by a specific deadline. We recommend scheduling during the season you love most before your graduation year.
What should I wear?
Wear outfits that feel like you! After booking, you’ll receive access to our interactive styling tool, Style & Select, to help you coordinate your looks. We also provide tips to help with prep.
Will you help me with posing?
Absolutely! We’ll guide you every step of the way with flattering poses and prompts to keep things natural and fun. You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands!
Where will my session take place?
You’re welcome to choose the location! Favorite parks, schools, coffee shops, or city landmarks are all great options. We’re happy to offer suggestions if you’re unsure. Weekday evenings are often best to avoid crowds.
Can I include props or bring my pet?
Yes, of course! Whether it’s sports gear, musical instruments, a cap and gown, or your dog — personal touches are always welcome. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
