Senior Session Questions + Answers

How do I book a session?

Reach out! Contact us and let's start planning! The best way to inquire is to fill out the contact form, send an email to contact@husbandandwifephoto.com or call 913.687.2690. Sessions are not fully considered “booked” until a contract has been signed and retainer paid. The deposit is 50% of the session fee chosen with the remaining balance due the day of your session.

What’s included in your pricing?

Your session time, the edited, high resolution images from the collection you’ve chosen, a print release and online downloading gallery are all included in your session fee. The deposit is applied to your total balance. You can choose to purchase additional images, more than are included in your package, after viewing your proofing gallery for an additional fee. Prints are available through your online gallery. Customizations such as name and year onto your images are available for Seniors! You can request a complete print product catalog when inquiring!

When should I book?

The total turn around for final images is 3 weeks. The week following your session you’ll receive your proofing gallery to pick your favorites. 2 weeks following submission of your favorites you’ll receive your final gallery. Booking 2 months before you need photos would be the minimum! We recommend booking in the season you prefer prior to your graduation year.

What should I wear?

We suggest sticking to the clothes you would typically wear to showcase your personality! We have an awesome interactive style guide we will send out after booking that will help you as well called Style & Select!

Will you help me with posing?

Absolutely! We know what it’s like to be in front of the camera too! Having direction helps you loosen up, feel less awkward and look flattering! We make sure we guide you in multiple ways using different poses so the session flows!

Where will my session take place?

You can pick! While your favorite park, school or coffee shop might be perfect, KC also has many iconic locations! You may want to consider a weekday evening if possible to avoid crowds. We can always recommend locations if you need help deciding!
